Blepharitis ia an inflammation that occurs along the edges of the eyelids. Blepharitis commonally occurs when the tiny oil glands near the bases of the eyelashes become clogged, causing irritation and redness. The condition is often chronic but usually does not cause permanent damage to eyesight.
HOW BLEPHARITIS IS CAUSED?
The main reason for the cause of blepharitis is due to the presence of too much bacteria in eyelids at the base of your eyelashes. And also when oil glands in your eyelids get clogged or irritated.
SYMPTOMS
Most frequently blinking, itching, burning or stinging, loss of eyelashes, watery and red eyes, greasy appearance.
TREATMENT
Clean your eyes daily with a warm water and clean cloth, medications for inflammation and infection, treating an underlying condition.
